If Our Rights Come From GOD And Not The Government Why Does the Government Have To Protect Them?

Why cant the same GOD that gave us our rights protect them for us?

Is it possible that he /she are also forced to depend on the government .

Personally I think that for those living on this Earth, that the government much more than GOD makes the difference in all of our lives.
