Reacting to a report that well-known Holocaust victim Anne Frank had been baptized by proxy in a Mormon temple, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints says it is committed to disciplining members of its church who conducted such baptisms, which violate church policy.

Word of the Frank baptism came a week after the issue of Mormon posthumous proxy baptism of Jews attracted national attention. This controversy surfaced after it was reported that the dead parents of Jewish Nazi hunter Simon Wiesenthal had been baptized in a Mormon temple.

The church apologized for that baptism, blaming it on a technical glitch in its system for submitting names for posthumous proxy baptism.

Someone ought to slip the name Judas Iscariot onto the rolls. Sure he was a Jew but that doesn't mean he wouldn't make a good Mormon.

I'm a big believer that turn about is fair play and after seeing what Bill Maher did on his show one night, I've decided that in my spare time I will be converting dead Mormons into atheists by a series of spoken words and a bit of secret magic atheist dust. I am happy to report that famous former Mormons Joseph Smith and Brigham Young are now atheists, oh so is Anne Frank.

This is a case were inwardly the Mormon General Authorities are pleased but outwardly they must be stern. The flak this issue has garnered for these Mormon GA's is just a fly in their ointment. They really don't care because they lead the "MOST CORRECT CHURCH ON EARTH!" Yeah, right and pigs fly!
