The Republicans like to claim that the rich are paying close to 40% of their income in taxes, but the tax return of Mitt Romney doesn't support that claim as he has paid less than 14% of his nearly $21,000,000 dollar income in taxes.
All working poor and lower middle class people paid a higher income tax percentage rate than that.
But because he is super rich Mitt Romney even claimed a tax deduction for his wife's dancing horse claiming that he lost $77,000 on his wife's pet horse.
Just what entitles the Romney's to a $77,000 deduction on a dancing horse when ordinary people with kids in college cant deduct the cost of helping their kids with the cost of college tuition, room, books and board.
