The Republicans and their deep pocketed backers like Sheldon Adelson found out last night that the Presidency of the United States still is not for sale.

They also learned that despite those hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars that they raised and spent on behalf of Mitt Romney and their backwards looking Republican vision for this country that it was all for naught.

I think that the lesson that Republicans should take away from this election is that they wasted 4 years that could have been used to help rebuild this country by obstructing and undermining the Presidents agenda, and that when it all was said and done,  the people of America refused to buy into the ugly racist and bigoted game that they had played.

Once again the people of America chose hope over fear.
